The festive spirit was in full swing as teachers and students of Giddis Computer Training Center (GCTC) in Obili Yaounde came together to celebrate Christmas in a grand manner. The much-anticipated event took place on December 22nd at Campus B, creating a joyful atmosphere that was hard to resist.
The celebration was overseen by the esteemed manager of the institution, Glory Tani, who ensured that every aspect of the event was meticulously planned and executed. Alongside her was Etienne Mainimo, the representative of the Director of GYTEC-Africa, who graced the occasion with his presence and added to the festive ambiance.
Etienne Mainimo, speaking on behalf of the Director of GYTEC-Africa, took a moment to appreciate the active participation of the students. He applauded their enthusiasm and encouraged them to continue embracing a dynamic approach to their studies. Mainimo further emphasized the importance of utilizing social media as a positive tool while also urging the students to tap into their creativity within their respective programs.
Glory Tani, in her heartfelt address, extended her warm wishes to everyone present. She emphasized the significance of responsibility and encouraged the students to demonstrate the virtues they have acquired during their time at GCTC. Tani’s words of wisdom resonated with the audience, as she reminded them to remain positive in the face of challenges, knowing that they hold the power to shape their own futures.
Speaking on behalf of the student body, Cliford Muluh, the Senior Delegate, shared a profound message that touched the hearts of all in attendance. He spoke about love being a reflection of God’s presence and encouraged everyone to seek peace, kindness, and goodwill among all people.
Muluh beautifully expressed, “When our hearts long for these qualities, we should look to Christ, whose light shines even in the darkest of times.” His words inspired his fellow students to strive towards embodying the teachings of Christ, not just during the Christmas season, but every day of their lives.
As the day unfolded, the atmosphere was electric with performances that showcased the talents of students, staff members, and even ex-students who returned to their alma mater for this special occasion. The enthusiasm and dedication displayed by those involved were truly commendable, as they captivated the audience with their mesmerizing acts and heartwarming gestures.
